The 12 Hour Relay Disaster

There was a massive crack and a reverberating boom... Everyone glanced around, all of the athletes were lying on the ground. From in the shadows came a black bulletproof hummer. It was going at least 150km per hours. The crowd started to scream. Everyone instantly ran for cover. The Kahikatea toilets were crowded with over 100 people. Mr Diver instantly dialed 111, but to his amazement the police force did not reply to his call. A man in dark glasses emerged from the black vehicle and was now standing in the middle of the field. He glared at us through the window..

Dear Mr Diver..

Dear Mr Diver,

One change that I think would be necessary is larger technology suites. Whenever we go to technology it feels just a tiny bit cramped. More machines and larger rooms could also improve the quality of the products being made and the overall outcome.

12 Hour Relay Poem

1 person from each team runs at a time.
2 teams per house.

Hardcore competition between all of the houses.
Our house never wins.
Underneath the blazing sun.
Racing against over 900 people.

Running for 12 hours.
Even the people that don't compete have to run.
Lollies sold in stands all over the field.
Anybody that looks sees everyone's bloodshot eyes at the end of the day.
Yelling teachers pushing on their students.

Just Say No..

I’ve got some older friends (I’m 13, they are 14/15) who have invited me to a party on Saturday night at someone’s house. I’m pretty sure everyone there will be drinking . I’ve never had alcohol before. I’m going to tell my parents that I’m staying the night at my friend’s. I feel quite nervous, cos I know it’s bad. What should I do?

Tell your parents that you are drinking at this party and that you are the youngest there. You have to stand up for yourself whilst at parties like these, you have to come prepared. Before heading to a party with people this age think everything through. Think of the possibilities...

Give Advice..

I found out my two friends smoke. Im only 13. I don't know what to do. I am really confused, Please Help.
Give Advice..

Don't copy what they are doing, it is completely inappropriate at this age. You should tell their parents and ask if they know what their child is doing. Don't let them hook you into what they're doing. You must stay strong and not let them push you around. Just think of the consequences that are still to come.     There are more important things at your age then smoking...
